Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare

Allright rookie, get your rifle and ammo and show them your worth.
In this game, unlike the previous CoD games, the action is transfer to a modern battlefield. You play as a soldier of U.S.M.C and as an English S.A.S, trying to capture a terrorist to prevent a nuclear threat.
The battle takes place on small towns and villages, which are highly accurate desgined, offering to the player the most realistic environment that a game could offer.
The graphics are stunning and the audio/sounds are realistic. This makes the explosions, voices/screams and gunfire sound real, transfering you to the battlefield to expirience first place how it is to be there.
The abilities that players have are good, such as air strike to destroy buildings that are fortified by the enemy terrorists.
The AI of the game is excellent, and your team members ( like all CoD games you are moving in squads) are not acting like stupid. Their moves and voices are pretty realistic too, making them seem ready to shoot and take cover, whithout causing any trouble to you.
This game is a MUST HAVE to all XBOX360 owners, since it is a perfect first person shooter, and an excellent modern warfare game.

Turok

O-kay....grab your knife and bow...and prepare to stalk enemies to stab them in the back!!!!
Turok has return to XBOX360 during Q1 of 2008 and the game is still available.
Turok and his fellow space marines are trapped into an unwelcome planet in order to capture an enemy terrorist.
Those of you who are familiar with the series should know that this game is all about stalking enemies through high grass....stabbing them in the back and nailing them to the wall using your bow and arrows.
But people are not alone in this planet.Dinosaurs exist as well...and you are not the only one stalking in the high grass....So watch your back!
Unlike the previous games, here dinosaurs look pretty good and realistic.You will see raptors in most of the game...and you will fight with a T-Rex...trying to protect his nest and his babies.And they are not harmless...
So grab your knife and bow and prepare to kill.

Sonic Unleashed

All right Sonic fans!!!He is back on XBOX360 on a new adventure against ( guess who ) Dr. Eggman!!!
Well the ratings for this game are bad. But i strongly recomment this game if you are a platformer fan and especially, a Sonic fun!!!
The basic concept, which is speed, is present along with a new mode using Sonic as a Werehog in hack and slash mode, which is really cool.
Not a must have...but if you are fun of the blue hedgehog go get it now while it is hot!!!
And dont believe the critic sites.This game really rocks.

Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts Now Available!!!

At last....after all these years of waiting REAR did it again by providing us hours of fun with Bear and Bird.

I know that hardcore funs of the series seem to be a bit disappointed since it is not the exact same formula that they expirienced a decade ago, but trust REAR.I believe they wont let us down.

Didnt manage to get it yet though...but it should be here soon.

Okay...first impressions.I didnt pay so much attention on the vehicle building...thing...and i manage to get to the third world.So not much challenge so far.Only two and a half hours.

Now...dont get me wrong but i will try to be honest and fair.

This game is a great ( not the best ) vehicle platformer.BUT!!!! It is not the Banjo Kazooie game that we all waited for.Players/gamers who played the game during the late 90's and the second one on the early 2000....will understand what i mean.

In the worlds there are familiar faces that will give you challenges in order to give you jiggies to open new worlds.The challenges that i encounter so far are racing challenges....shooting challenges and to carry things.

Not big deal.

Nuts and Bolts is a great vehicle platformer as i state above but not what we ( players who played the first titles) expected.

For those who didnt played the old games the first title is now avaible on XBOX Live, you should give it a try.

Gears of War 2

Just got it today and i cant wait to blast some heads off!!!!Await my reviews soon!!!!

Okay....now for the first impressions.First i would like to say that the Limited Edition box is a masterpiece.really.I'm in love with it!!!!
The game so far...Perfection.I've managed to get mortar and a new pistol which are included in the new weaponry.AWSOME!!!!!
The ability to take bodies for shield is astonishing.
The cut scenes are....well....my mouth is still wide open!
But to tell what you want to hear, this is the perfect sequel for a perfect game.And this....is even better!!!!
If you didnt manage to get it yet....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!!! :-)
The Locust are meaner...angier....lots in numbers...and some of them are bigger!!!!Yes i am refering to new enemies that we didnt faced on the first title.
So get your weapons and join Delta Squad to blast some heads!!!!
Just finished it guys!!!!Terryfic game.Though it leaves you with lots of questions rather than answers.Guess we will find those answers out as soon as the third one will be released!
Something that I did like while playing the game, is that you hijack a Reaver and a Brumack!!!

Gears of War

Now THIS is a game. I know that true XBOX360 fans are waiting its sequel, but if any of you does not have the first title into his/hers collection...em...GET IT NOW!!!!
Great visuals and audio will make the battlefield realistic and it will make you shoot all the time with your rifle to blust some heads!!!!
A fine tactical third person shooter that will blow your head away. You take the role of Marcus Fenix as he leads Delta Squad in order to eliminate the Locust's underground nest.
This game is a third person tactical shooter. By saying tactical, I mean that you can take cover on walls and objects, and roll to avoid enemy shooting. It has nothing to do with preparing the battle plan/routes to take control of a situation, like most of tactical shooters do.
The ability to have a chainsaw attached to your rifle for close range attacks makes it even more interesting, since you rip appart any enemy that will come close to you.
The AI of the game is pretty good, since enemies are not stupid and they actually try to flank you, amking your life and your team mate's even harder!

10 out of 10 and we expect from its sequel to be better, or at least to keep the same quality like this game.

Banjo Kazooie : Nuts & Bolts

OH MY GOD!!!THEY'RE BACK AGAIN!!!!

Prepare for the nuttiest adventure of the year!!!

Those of you who have played the Banjo Kazooie games on the N64, should know that this game will ROCK.

From the previews that i've watched from a number of websites, the game seems to be a platformer with vehicles.DON'T get this wrong.It will be a platformer but you will design your own vehicles, and it is NOT going to be a racing game.

I know that most of BK series got dissapointed from these changes of the game but hey, it is REAR.I trust them, and i know that they will not let me down.

Expect this game during November!!!!

Fracture

Haven't finished it yet, but i have to say that the ability to terraform the ground by raising it or by creating holes, is amazing.Lots of people tend to say that you wont need it throughout the game.But personally i disagree.

By raising the ground you create cover from enemy fire. By creating holes, you trap the enemy inside and you simply throw a grenade.

A great third person shooter from Lucas Arts and i think that it dont deserves the 6 out of 10 critic that it received from most of the websites.

Golden Axe : Beast Rider

Golden Axe: Beast Rider is a tipical hack and slash game, giving you the ability to ride beasts ( and they are pretty good), in order to crash your enemies.
In comparison with other games of the same field, like LOTR trilogy, you do not gain level or get new attacks/combos.You just slash your enemies with your sword, throw fireballs to them or you smash them with your beast.

If you are not a fan of the Golden Axe, or even of this type of games like hack and slash, dont buy it.

As a collector, and a fan of SEGA, i bought it, just for the expirience.

Critics on gaming websites are kinda low, but people that played the game gave it an average of 8 out of 10.

Take control of Masterchief at this masterpiece, named Halo 3. The last chapter of the Masterchief's struggle against the Covenant order to save mankind.

This game is a masterpiece in terms of both audio and visuals.The graphics are amazing, as well as the AI of the game. A fine piece into a true gamer's collection, and to third person shooter lovers.

Dead Space : Only the Dead Survive

The game is available from today and guess what!It scored 9 out of 10 on most of the critic web sites.I didnt manage to get it yet, but i am waiting for it!

As i promised, i got the game just today and i am about to spend a few hours to give you my first impressions of this ground shacking space themed survival horror game.

Now THAT is a game. GREAT AUDIO, PERFECT graphics. ( and everything is moving perfectly - great motion of characters). It will drain your life out of you, since you will not be able to stop playing. It is a perfect sourvival horror game, set in space and you are suppose to kill your enemies, which are space zombies, by ripping from them each of their limbs.

Dead Space has a great atmosphere, which is creepy, scary audio and lots of limbs to rip off!!!!

9 out of 10? Bah...that is 100 out 10!!!!
